Day 5 Post Op
I’m a zombie right now. Terrible night last night. Up for hours with Bacca. He’s finally sleeping right now. Longest time in I don’t know in how long. I was awake so much last night that I don’t know how much I slept. At one point, Bacca found his way into a corner and got stuck between furniture because of this come and could not come out. I tried to coax him but he would not do anything and he just panted at me.
Of course, I am thinking that this is the sign of pain where he hides in the corner and won’t come out. What am I going to do? There’s no way I can get him out of here and even if I do, how will I even take him to the emergency clinic if he’s doing so poorly. Finally he comes out (truthfully it was probably only a few minutes but felt like eternity) and then he goes into another area to lay down but he is still panting. If he isn’t laying down and panting, he is pacing. This is so hard. I’m beside myself with worry.
