Day 6 Post Op (4th of July)
Much better day! He finally seems to be relaxing a little bit and is even sleeping so much more. Yesterday, we went down to 1/2 steroid 2 times per day. I wonder if that helped?
Guess who got a special visit from my awesome friend today. Bacca wagged his tail and was so happy! I’m reminded to appreciate the little things in life.
Another friend visited a few hours later. Again, tail wagging and so happy to see her. I think he’s tired of us. HA!
I prepared the bedroom he has been sleeping in with fans and a air purifier and classical music to drown out the folks who are illegally shooting off fireworks in the neighborhood. Thankfully he had a good night and so did we.
Also, he slept like a champ last night, or at least he wasn’t pacing and panting at all hours as far as I knew. He’s resting much more and seems more calm. Our sleepless nights have been rough – for him and us. Hoping we see daily improvements. Stitches out and cone off in 5 days. Love this little trooper!
