Days 8 and 9 Post Op
Pretty much the same but we are seeing more interaction with him, especially on Day 8. On Day 7, we only had to give him 1/2 steroid in the morning and we can skip Day 8 and I think I see a big difference.
Seems more relaxed and interactive. Plus, we figured out a new way to open up the living room while still keeping the gating we have blocking access to the couches. He appreciated being able to get on the floor with me and cuddle near the family. Why didn’t I think of this before? Though, he may not have been ready to be snuggly yet. He did a little but then went back to his safe spot in the other bedroom.
Had to give him 1/2 steroid morning of Day 9. I see a difference today. A bit more restless. I’ve told him that tomorrow (Day 10) is his last full day of stitches and the cone. Yea! Go Bacca Go!
I’m so excited. Bacca was visited again by sweet my sweet friend and you should’ve seen his tail wagging and he actually jumped up to greet her! He was beside himself! Look at this smile! Tomorrow is his last full day of stitches and the dreadful cone. 😊
He’s doing great! Pawsitively awesome!
